Mandy Cotten, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Mandy Cotten, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is the owner and a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Institute for Hormonal Balance in Arlington, Texas. Mandy feels privileged to follow in her father’s footsteps — Gary Donovitz, MD, taking care of the patients he has cared for since opening the practice in 1985.

Mandy graduated from Texas Christian University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. While working as a Registered Nurse for five years at John Peter Smith Hospital, Mandy completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Loyola University in New Orleans.

Mandy served on the Clinical Advisory Board for BioTE Medical for eight years and was the Director of Clinic and Research for BioTE. During her time with BioTE, Mandy was involved in the training of over 4,000 practitioners internationally and became a published author when she and Dr. Gary Donovitz’s study on Breast Cancer Incidence Reduction in Women Treated with Subcutaneous Testosterone: Testosterone Therapy and Breast Cancer Incidence Study in the European Journal of Breast Health in 2021.

Mandy is passionate about helping her patients find the best plan of care for them and involving patients in their health and decisions surrounding it. Mandy’s goal is to help patients feel the best that they can feel.

When not caring for patients and running the office, Mandy loves spending time with her family, including her two children, Rylie & Ashton, and her husband, Casey.
